THE OPPORTUNITY: As a Corporate Account Manager, Inside Sales, you will manage and develop portfolios of assigned accounts by providing brokers and the Director, Brand Development with total solutions.  The focus will be on managing existing accounts while supporting the Director, Brand Development in implementing sales strategies, programs and promotions while providing educational support to originator partners.  This role will require credit co-ordination and a deep understanding of the underwriting and fulfillment process.  If you are a driven individual, who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, and has a proven track record in sales, understands the importance of time management and takes an analytic approach to solution selling, then this is the opportunity for you!



Role Specific Accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following: 

  • Respond to incoming calls and emails from mortgage originators, within prescribed SLA's
  • Liaise with credit team and other departments when necessary to resolve agent issues
  • Keep log of all issues raised, identifying trends where possible
  • Conduct outgoing calls to mortgage agents as follows-up on service experience
  • Educate and coach originator on required process flow, product rules and documentation requirements
  • Review pipeline reports to manage funding ratios and 10 day prior, look for opportunities to coach originators and highlight trends to management
  • Provide stats to Private Label management team on frequent offenders to be managed 

Educational /Technical Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business/Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ customer service experience
  • Credit experience an asset
  • 3+ years’ experience in Canadian Financial Services Industry
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
  • Mortgage experience is a definite asset, knowledge of Filogix and FIS Profile

  • Strong ability to analyze situations, develop and implement solutions, often within narrow time frames.
  • Should be a team player willing to work on a variety of initiatives
  • Should have the ability to work independently and identify priorities for completion of multiple tasks / projects under pressure.
